Maranda has a diverse background working with startups. Starting at Techstars she was an Associate and later a Coordinator for two cohorts in the Kansas City Program. During her time at Techstars Maranda assisted in running the Techstars program and ensuring that portfolio companies were successful during the program. That experience is where she developed her passion for working with startups.

Most recently Maranda was the Director of Marketing at the Kansas City based startup, SquareOffs.

It is this blend of skills, experience, and dedication to the startup community that brought her to Firebrand Ventures as the new fund associate.

Maranda holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Kansas and enjoys hiking and camping.
